It felt like a great white shark had taken up residence in my belly, devouring my internal organs one at a time.
I’d found a note from Landon taped to my front door, cancelling our tutoring session yesterday. His excuse was that he had to run errands, or something stupid like that. But, he’d also stated that he would meet me and my parents this evening at six, so he hadn’t cancelled the main event. Not yet, at least.
