I find myself still sitting by the window seat, wide awake even after time has passed, as my body shivers slightly from the cold breeze the night gave me as solace.
I could still recall what Nylah had said. Not only did he sleep with her, she was pregnant with his child. All along, she wanted to get her hands on him, and she finally did. I felt like he was never mine to begin with.
A small sound caught my attention in my large chambers. I looked to see something being slipped under my door; it was the ribbon I thought I had lost earlier after meeting with Zaydem in the arena yesterday.
