Chapter 5

The Preparation and the Proposal :

"Jo wake up... It's already 4 in the morning and we have a lot of work to do...."

She woke up in a hurry and I gave her coffee...

After we were done with coffee, we cleaned the full house.. And mopped ceiling fan as it was an important thing to do....

Took all the photos we got printed (selfies of mine and his being together and all the other photos we took together since high school), decorated my room's wall with photos after glued all of them to a thread using gum tapes...

Took small LED lights and made them follow the thread of photos...

Made a wonderful heart shaped paper work and wrote I love you on it then using a gum tape... Glued it to the wall...

Took Rose petals and made kept as much as we can on the ceiling fan wings ...

Arranged candles... Prepared cake... And Jo was enjoying this as much as I did.... And she was really happy for me...

After all the preparations, Jo said "All done and do you want to practice what you're gonna tell...??"

"no and I think I'm ready" I said...

Though I was a bit nervous.., I told her that I am ok

Now is time for me to get ready...

As we cleaned full home, I had to take shower... Once I got freshen up... I wore the gown which was gifted by Matthew... It's bright red in color and I was saving it for a special occasion...

Then I wore an ear ring which matches the dress of course and applied red lipstick...

Then straightned the hair to make the look perfect... Once done Jo came and told that I look pretty...

Meanwhile, I heard a knock on the door... Oh my God... It's him... Jo ran towards the main door... I quickly lit candles and went and stood behind the door...

Once the door was opened... He entered and when he asked Jo about me, I closed his eyes with my hands and told him to move towards the room...

After I made him stand under the fan, I told him " keep the eyes closed until my next command"

Then went and switched on the fan as the rose petals started raining on him... I held rose and got one one knee and told him

"Now you may open your eyes"

When he did... He was surprisingly shocked... Looking at him I said

"Matthew, I love you so much and will you please accept me as your girlfriend??"

After I asked the question, he got on his knees, took rose I offered and said.. "Yes, Yes.... A thousand times Yes..."

Both of us had happy tear filled in our eyes and we hugged... It was my first hug from the first relationship I ever had... I feel good... Sorry,, I feel awesome and I never felt like this before...

Meanwhile, Mathew asked me that " Ann you're proposing me only... Am I right or you just practicing to propose someone else??"

I could not help but laugh and said " I proposed to you only Mr.. Mathew... And I want you to be my boyfriend... If you don't believe me... Plz look around... You can see photographs of me and you only "

He looked around for a few seconds.. Then grab me and hugged me again...

After a while, Jo knocks the door and I told her to come in...

She came in with a cake... We cut the cake and she said " I'm going to do a shopping now and you two have a wonderful time"..

We both were smiling... Once she left, he held my hand and asked me when I realised all these...

I told him "I was sipping a coffee yesterday with Matt and all of a sudden it occurred to me that if I get married to him., I might not get to see you or talk everyday... Which literally scared me to the core... Then I realised how much I love you and I would never do anything which will make me miss you... Hence I told him that its not gonna work as I'm in love with you "...

He looked at me and said " so yesterday when you called me, you knew you were in love with me and yet you qmade me wait for another day...?? "

Looking him in the eyes I said " yes, that's right!!! I needed time for all these preparations and I wanted to make this very special for you... Hence I had to make you wait I am sorry "..

He hugged me again and said " thank you so much dear... Thanks a lot for the proposal... Thank you for making this day a very special for me... You're the best "

Then I said " your welcome and did you notice that I'm wearing a gown you bought me"..

He said smiling that "of course I did and you look phenomenal..."
