THE RETURNMy mind is full of plans for the future; how I will stand up to Horemheb; how I will follow through the task my brother and I had been set; how I will make sure the religion of the people is a true religion, and not a beautiful mask over an ugly and cruel face. I feel strong, confident, capable of great deeds. I know I will not see Khurahtaten again. He has done for me what he can, and now I must stand alone. I no longer desire to be king. As high priest I can do what I have to do.
