Tammy POV

It was almost that time for me to get off and I could see Chris patiently waiting in the parking lot. I was so ready to just go home and kick my feet up.

"Tam, don't forget you're on vacation until next Monday." I loved hated my job.

I nodded and clocked out and headed to the car.

I had been knocking the sales quota outta the park. And as a payout on top of my nice check, the company pretty much told me I earned a 2 week vacation for the hard work.

We kissed but Chris' face let me know something is up

“Why the sad face?" I asked.

“Sean is gonna tell her." he replied.

“OK, that's a good thing. Right? " I said confused.

“Tam it would be good if he had done it sooner. You forget I talked to Jayd and treated her like my sister."

“Wait so you saying..." he nodded before I had a chance to finish the statement.

Jayd after 5 years was ready to walk.

Chris put the car in gear and started the trip home

“I mean but do you blame her? She's put up with alot these last year's. Not to mention her background."

“I know Tam, I know" he says cutting me off mid rant.

“This might be the wake up call he needs tho. He got comfortable with a lot of s**t but it shouldn't take a baby to make you realize how you feel about someone." Chris says

Which was true, Jayd has never been afraid to tell Sean when he was f*****g up.

Hell, she would tell us all.

She was the oldest out the 4 of us but she also had the roughest come up. We sat in a comfortable silence for the rest of the way home.

Which I hated.

Currently, we lived in his parents' basement. With the help of Jayd and the boys to do heavy lifting, we turned the basement into a mini apartment area. We only go upstairs to eat and use the bathroom.

I hated how fake his mama was which was the worst part.

She smiled in mine and Jayd face but tried to put us against each other.

Nahhh little b***h we done caught on.

Me and Jayd just be laughing at her stupid ass, she called herself trying to protect her son's.

And we now take care of they baby asses.

When we arrived home we didn't go through the front door I was thankful cause I honestly hated his mama with a passion.

“your best friend coming over." Chris says as I get settled in.

“Jayd?" I asked getting excited.

“yeah he went to go get her "

“good I can practice a few hair things on her if she up for it. "

" she loves you."

Meanwhile

Jayd POV

BRUH this man really pulled up on me and packed my s**t. I really wanted to beat his ass at this point.

“what you in the mood for?"

“ice cream."

“Jayd real food. " he sighed.

“that is real food."

“look woman I'm not about to play with you, what do you want?"

“Dairy Queen. 6 piece chicken tender meal."

“I gotta get mom and dad food too." he says parking. I just nodded and unbuckled my seat belt struggling just a little bit.

“They sure it's just one baby in there? " he asked worriedly

“they stuck a probe up my jj to be sure." I said as we entered the Dairy Queen.

“And how did the last appointment go?"

“He got a big head like his daddy and he's on track" I say as we go to stand next to counter.

“Haha, let me call my parents." he steps off for a few mins

“Awww how many weeks are you?" the girl at the counter ask

“32 weeks and 3 days" I smiled politely.

“Awww you're at the finish line pretty much." I laughed

“Yeah, it's exciting..." Sean was back at my side

“Ready to order now?" Sean jesters for me to go ahead.

“Can I do the 5$ chicken finger meal, large combo?" she nods putting in my order

“To drink?"

“Do you have raspberry tea? "

“You'll be peeing all night..." Sean says

“Fine, sprite." the girl laughs

“Separate or together?" I look to Sean

“It's together." He then proceeds to order for himself and parents.

“We'll stop at the Kroger next I'll get you a tub of your ice cream in place of your tea." he says as we wait.

“It's ok. It's no big deal."

“Jayd I'm just looking out. "

“I know Sean that's why I ain't tripping." I sighed.

We sat in silence a bit

“Hey foods ready." we got up collected our food and got in the car.

“You sure you don't want the ice cream? I don't wanna be getting up at no 4 am. "

“ok ok ok. Get my ice cream." we drove to the Kroger got my ice cream and then to the hell house.

I really hated dealing with his fake ass mama. Even before I got pregnant but now she irks my soul to another level.

Like just being around her irked my soul.

We arrived at the house and I sighed.

“Just get the food I'll grab everything else." I nodded and walked up the porch steps.

Which had me outta breath as I went through the front door.

“You should have rung the doorbell. " dad says getting up to help me.

“I'm just a lil winded that's all. He's been against my lungs these last few weeks. "

“Awww he's running out of space. " mama says getting up. "how's everything been?"

“school has been OK, the girls are driving me insane and work has been work. " I replied sitting down. His mama was staring at my feet, noticing how swollen they are.

“jayd you should have your feet up"

“I will be just dropping food off and I need to pee." I say getting up. I got to the bathroom

"I'm going downstairs." I yell out as I leave the bathroom. I walk down the stairs carefully.

“Oh shit." I hear Chris say as I round the corner. "I see my nephew before I see you." I flip him the bird as he gets up to give me a hug.

“How you been?" before I can even respond a loud girly scream erupts.

It makes us stop and turn in the direction it came from.
