Jayds POV

Since I pushed Carter out the hospital was releasing me on strict no s*x orders and to let my v****a heal. They didn’t have to tell me twice Sean wasn’t getting none for a good while, he crazy as hell if he think imma go through that again.

Since he was home a few more weeks his parents okayed it for me and the baby to stay with them. As much as I didn’t want to stay because I was still iffy about his mom I took the offer because I knew my body could rest and I could get school work done...

Carter was 3 days old now and my heart just swelled watching him sleep as the wheeled me out to the front.

Sean kisses me and put Carter in the car before coming back to get me.

“Did yo-“

“Babe He is fine. Dad doubled checked before I left to make sure everything was fine.” I sighed he knew me so well.

“Boy if you wasn’t driving I’d mush your ass.” I said turning to face the window.

“Youll be ok” He says with a thick southern accent damn I was turned on and he knew it

“You think you slick.” He just laughed.

We arrived at his parents house and I was confused as to why so many cars were in the drive way.

“Sean?” I questioned

“Grand parents. Uncle Troy and cousins”

“First of nobody is kissing on him but us. He hasn’t got his shots yet.” I sighed

“I know babe I know I tired to talk mom out of it.” I rolled my eyes

“Don’t roll them eyes at me.”

“f**k you.” I say playfully getting out the car

“And look what happened.” He says laughing.

I went to grab the baby

“Woman put him down and grab the bag.”

“I didn’t have a csetion you know.”

“Yeah but that waddle in your walk tells me you are still sore.”

“Don’t be watching me walk.”

“I’ll watch that ass all day.” He smirks I couldn’t help but laugh as I leaned in to grab the bag. He undoes the car seat and meets me in the front of the car.

“Hey...” he leans in and I kiss his lips softly “we got this.”

I nodded and walk into the house. Literally his whole family is there.

“Awwww hi beautiful.” His cousin Mina says hugging me I laugh hugging her back. Carter starts to cry.

“He might be hungry.” Sean says sitting him down

“My boobs are sore!” I mutter to Sean

“You didn’t pump?” He mouthed I shook my head no and he rolled his eyes. I lean over his shoulder to see carter is in fact hungry.

I sighed getting his covering blanket

“Your breast feeding him?” Jan asked I nodded

“Mamas coming lil man.” Sean says taking him out the car seat as I sit on the couch and get prepped. I throw the blanket over me and Sean puts him in my arms. Carter finds my n****e in an instant and latches on.

“Yeah He was definitely hungry.” I say causing everyone to laugh

“How often is he eating?”

“Every 4-6 hours. I haven’t been able to pump because I’m so sore.” I say rolling my eyes

“So how was labor and delivery?” I look at Sean and he laughs.

“Well She pushed him out with 3 pushes.” Sean says with a shrug

“Lots of crying.” His mom throws in.

“Awwww how sweet.” Jan says “so any plans for more?” I looked at her like she grown 2 heads

“H-“ Sean covers my mouth and starts laughing .

“I forgot where I was for a second.” I huffed. “No mam not for a very long time.”

“Hey!” Sean complains I roll my eyes.

“I have something for you.” His mom says before I can respond she disappears in her room coming back out with 2 pillows.

“One is a feeding pillow and the other is a body pillow” she says showing me which is which I was surprised but greatly appreciated the jester.

“Awww thank you.” I say as she helps me readjust with the nursery pillow. Carter was still latched on sucking away...

“So Carter Blake? Who picked ?” Uncle Troy asked

“All Jayd.” Sean says “she wanted him to have his own identity.” He adds on I throw him a look

“What?”

“Nothing.” I say smoothly.

20 mins later

After tons of questions Carter was finally full and ready for burping

“Can I do it?” Mama asked I nodded and hand him over with a burping blanket.

“He looks like jayd.” Dad says cooing at him as Mama gets him to burp and now rocks him to sleep.

“Hey!”

“Sorry son but he does.”

“Can I hold him next?” Jan asked I nodded.

“That’s fine just don’t kiss on him please.”

“Respectfully noted” she smiles as mama hands him off

Sean POV

That night

My parents knew I was moving but what they didn’t know was Jayd and the baby were actually gonna stay in the apartment I got.

I hated that I had to leave but my wife to be and son would join me soon enough. As I watched the sleep a crazy idea popped into my head.

“Babe you awake?” I whisper kissing her shoulder

“No.” She mutters making me laugh a little

“Smart ass. I have a question.” She looks at her phone

“Its 3:42am”

“Yeah and I have a crazy idea.”

“Oh god.” She turns over to face me “no we not having sex.” I roll my eyes

“No ass. Let’s go to the court house.” Her eyes snap open

“I didn’t accept your proposal.”

“So. I want my wife and son with me.” I replied “you not having cold feet are you?” I asked worriedly

“No im just surprised.” She says with a yawn “why so soon? Why now?”

“They’ve been talking in the base. Word is we might ship out soon...” she sits up

“But you just got home.”

“I’ve been home for 2 months now. I wanna go active duty.”

(*Should have said this earlier but when he comes home he’s coming from basic. He got to stay so long because he’s reserved. From what I know when reserved they drill like every other weekend*)

“But we need you here. Carter needs you.” She pleads

“Babe.” I sighed “I want you as my wife so if I ship out you guys are taking care off.” She sighs laying back down and I watch the tears spill over

“Baby don’t cry.” I say wiping her tears away

“You talk like you guys won’t come back.” She whispers.

“Babe...” I sighed again

“I’ll do it.” She says after a few moments of silence

“You don’t have to if you don’t want to.”

“I’m in no rush to do a wedding but if it makes you feel better knowing we’re ok I’ll do it. Call Barker see what y’all can set up in the next few days, we’re gonna need a witness” She says rolling over. I grabbed my phone and send him a quick text.

“We’re moving to.” I throw in

“Huh?”she rolls back over

“I got us a place.” I smiled she sits back up

“Stop playing.” She mushed me.

“I’m serious we get keys on the 15th.”

She kisses me.

“You’re becoming an amazing man.” I smiled and kissed her back

The 15th

Jayd POV

It was move in day !!!

I’ve never been more proud of Sean. He left this morning to go get keys. I was packing the last of Sean’s clothes as Carter slept.

I hear the door open and I immediately turn putting my fingers over my lips.

“Just put him down.”

“You ready ?” Sean asked I nodded picking up the diaper bag as Sean grabbed our son in his car seat and we set out.

15mins later we pulled into an apartment complex.

“We’re on the 2nd floor of building C.” I look around and find building C walking toward it.

He tosses the key to me and I walk up the steps carefully.

When I get inside I dropped the diaper bag. Everything is fully furnished. Tears fill my eyes.

“You like it?” He asked seeing that I didn’t move

I nodded and walked in.

I went through every room but what got me was carters room. It was decked out with all kinds of sports stuff.

He laid Carter in his crib and pulled me out the room.

I laid the kisses on him.

“I can’t believe you did this for us...”

“Anything to see that smile again.” He says kissing me back.
