CHAPTER EIGHTEEN

ELENA POV

When Taylor texted me last night I already knew she was planning on something. I will keep an eye out for her. I will talk to Aria and Toby about the situation about what she asked me. I know she was trying to get information out of me. I know she is already planning ways to get rid of Aria. So she can slip right into the picture with Toby. She needs to understand she can’t force someone into a relationship with her. She needs help. Maybe I can talk to her mother about the situation. I don’t think her mother knows what is all going on or the truth. Taylor has a habit of telling some the truth. Maybe I can get her mom to help get Taylor some help. I am glad Toby is getting married to Aria. She is perfect for him. She is so strong with everything she has been through. And she is also so nice despite everything. And yet, she has a massive backbone when it comes to the people she cares about. I smiled at that. I laid down and fell asleep.

THE NEXT MORNING…..

I woke up to a few text messages from Jacob and Toby. I read the messages. Toby said “please don’t share anything that I told you about Aria. She doesn’t want a lot of people knowing. I responded “of course. Taylor texted me last night and tried to get information out of me. But I didn’t let anything slip and I can even show you the conversation as well.” Then I read Jacob’s message. Jacob’s messages said “Hey babe, good morning. I hope you slept well. I can’t wait to see you at school. I love you!” I responded “Good morning babe! I love you too.” With that I got ready for school. When I arrived, I went to the friend group. Taylor wasn’t there yet, neither was Toby. I sat quietly, then I saw Taylor walking up, right when Toby was getting dropped off. I watched Taylor. She was watching them like she was jealous. Hell, I know she is jealous. Toby kissed Aria. Then got out of the car. Aria drove off. Taylor went to Toby. She said “hi.” And he ignored her. He came straight to the group. He smiled at us. He said “Hey guy.” Taylor came over and said “Toby, I said hi.” Again Toby ignored her.

Mike said “Hey bro, why are you ignoring Taylor?”

Toby said “oh, because she pulled a stunt with my FIANCE yesterday and like I told her she is no longer a friend to me. I dealt with dinner last night because Aria put her ass in her place.”

Mike asked “Taylor, what were you thinking? After what happened to the b***h. I am sorry, but I think I speak for everyone when I say please leave the group alone. I told you yesterday don’t do something stupid because no one will side with you if you did something stupid.”

Taylor said “it was an honest mistake.I didn’t mean to do it. Please Toby, I am sorry for what I did. Can you please forgive me?”

Toby said “f**k off, you are a psycho. Oh by the way, don’t try to do something with her mother or anyone because I will take you down for collaboration and you will go to jail. I am not stupid.”

Taylor said “Elena, you told him about our conversation last night.”

I replied “All I said was you trying to get information out of me. That is all I said. He found that stuff out all on his own.” With that Taylor got up and walked away without another word to anyone. I looked at Mike and he looked sad because he really does like Taylor. I feel bad for him. Maybe I can get one of my single friends to go out on a blind date with him. He is a catch. With that plan in my head I set off to class. My friend Selena was in that same class. I sat next to her. I said “Hey, Selena. I have a question for you. Are you single?”

Selena replied “Yeah, why?”

I replied “well, you know my friend Mike right?”

Selena replied “Yeah, he is cute but why?”

I replied “would you mind, if I set you up on a date with him?”

Selena replied “isn’t he dating the psycho chick, what was the b***h’s name. Taylor or Tionya or whatever?”

I replied “no they were never together. Taylor is obsessed with Toby. Like I mean crazy level.”

Selena replied “sure, set it up but as a triple date with me, you, Mike, Jacob. Toby and you can set him up as well right.”

I replied “oh I forgot to tell you, Toby is engaged.”

Selena was shocked and she said “well good. I hope he is happy with her.” The teacher came into class and started the lesson. Once the teacher was in the middle of class my phone went off. My teacher asked who’s phone that just went off. I raised my hand. I said “I am sorry I thought it was silent.”

My teacher said “fine this is your only warning. If I hear it going off again, it will be taken away and you wont get it back until after class. Please silence your phone.” With that she turned back and started to finish her lesson. My teacher is really cool about things like that happening but if it becomes a problem she won't care about it. About twenty minutes later, the bell rang to go to the next class. I got up and went to pack my bag. I walked out of the classroom, once I was out I instantly met Taylor. Taylor said “so bestie, what are we doing after school today? Do you want to go get mani and pedi’s with me and Jade?”

I replied “no thank you. I am busy with my family.”

Taylor said “oh come on your parents love me. I don’t think they would care if you came with me for a few hours.”

I replied “Again, sorry but I am busy with my family. And the relatives that would be coming in. So, no I am busy. Good bye Taylor.”

Taylor said “how about this weekend then?”

I replied “no plans with other people already. Sorry, but I am busy.”

Taylor said “well okay, can I sit with you at lunch since I can’t sit with the group anymore?”

I replied “No, I am sitting with the group.” Taylor huffed and turned around, then walked away, well more like stomped away. I just shook my head, and headed to my next class. Which is with Toby and Mike. So I went to my next class and I took my seat next to Mike and Toby. Mike asked “how was your class with Taylor?”

I replied “not good, she is mad at me because I have plans without people that don't involve her. And I have plans to sit with you all for lunch.”

Mike replied “so let’s just let her sit with us for lunch but we don’t acknowledge her.”

Toby said “if she sits with us. I will not sit there. I am done with her crazy behavior, thinking that I am hers when I am not. I mean Mike, if you like her, that's all good and what not. I won't stop you from dating the crazy chick. I will be there for you but I wont be near her when you and her are hanging you.”

I said “Mike, I have someone I would like you to meet. It is a blind date so You can’t say no it is tomorrow night.”

Mike replied “Okay, I will go. And Toby, I understand your position. And my friendship is more important to me than some girl who didn’t give me the time of day because she is obsessed with you. I can even tell she wasn’t not into me like I was her. And the key word is WAS.”

Toby said “I am still sorry for everything that happened. But I am glad you're going to get up and go with Elena. Elena, how did you get Selena to go out with Mike?”

I replied “Selena, actually likes him. But she always thought Mike was with Taylor. But I made sure she knew what was going on.”

Mike said “I am glad you never gave up on me. Taylor is nothing to me anymore.”
