CHAPTER TEN

Taylor Pov:

After, Toby walked out of the cafeteria with Elena and he said all of this with Elena saying my biggest secret, that I was actually in love with Toby. I was really pissed. I sat down. I looked at the table. I saw Mike look like something was bothering him. I asked “Mike, what’s up? You look like something is bothering you. Do you want to talk about it?”

Mike stated “not with you. You are beautiful and you are so focused on someone who doesn’t like you that someone around this table already thinks you are the most amazing person, beautiful, kind and caring person, but you are too far up Toby’s ass to even see it. I am sorry, but you need to figure out that he is not and will not be into you. He likes Aria. Scratch that he actually loves her better than Terry. You need to wake up and if you try anything because of your jealousy, trust me, when I say this, he will never ever talk to you again and you will be someone that he used to know just like her. Why don’t you go ask her how long she has been trying to get him to look back on her way to becoming friends and back together when she lost his trust, his love, his friendship, because she is still trying. And he hates her. So think before you do something stupid. And then, if you do something stupid you will lose all of us as your friends because he has been our friend for years and we will side with him just like Terry, because you will do something stupid and,, to hurt him because you're jealous and upset, so, for some advice, leave him alone with his girlfriend.” With that he got up and left, everyone followed him. I was sitting alone, I was pissed because of Toby, Elena, Toby, whatever b***h she is. I will get Toby. We were meant to be. We are endgame. He will know it sooner or later, even if I have to f**k him to get pregnant and baby trap his ass to be with me. I know he is responsible and selfless when it comes to kids. He loves them, so he will love that I will make him a father. So I have to get him drunk and do something for him. Once the bell rang to signal us to get to our next class, I got up and started planning. While I was walking to my next class, Toby and Elena were there. I stopped them from talking about something. I wish I could hear them talk because I would like to know. I got into the class. I sat at the back of the class where we all normally sit. I see them coming in. Toby looked at me and went to the other side of the class in the back row, with Elena.I was now looking at them like they had two heads. They kept talking in a hushed whisper, so now I can hear them. But when the teacher started the class, they focused. I passed Elena a note. She looked at it. She wrote back. She passed it back.

The Note to Me: “Hey, why didn’t you sit next to me like always and what are you and Toby doing tonight?”

Her: “Because we sat over here, and we are busy and no you're not invited, so DON’T ASK.” To say I was pissed was an understatement. I stopped focusing on class and kept thinking about what I can do and now I want to know what they are doing. Since I wasn’t paying attention to class, I didn’t even realize it was the end of class. I got up and left the room. I went outside. I saw a car I didn’t know. I think that is the b***h who stole my man. So I walked up to the car. She rolled his window down. I have to admit she is pretty. She had black hair with very light blue eyes. She has fair skin, with light freckles on her face. She asked “can I help you?”

I snapped out of my thoughts and said “are you with Toby Dodger?”

She replied “who are you? What do you want?”

I was getting annoyed with her attitude. My name is Taylor Blackburn, and I was just going to warn you if you're dating him. I mean he is a player.”

She said “well Taylor, it is not any of your concern about what I am to him. I actually talked to him. And I know when someone is lying. And you, Taylor, are nothing but a liar, so get away from my car because I am not listening to anything you say. And best believe that I will be mentioning this to him when he gets in my car.”

I replied “Oh you can keep this between us correctly. It is not that big of a deal.”

She stated “Oh, why would I do that? I am not someone who is scared of a teenage girl. I have dealt with much more than you can even imagine. So I will be talking to him about this. You best believe I will. Now walk away from my car.” Just then I heard Toby say “hey what’s going on here?”

I said “oh nothing, I was telling her that you Oh be right out. Right.” While looking at her. She laughed and shook her head. She then stated “Babe, your friend here came up here, to figure out who I am and then stated she wanted to warn me about you, she stated that you are nothing but a player and that I should be careful with you.” I thought she was joking when she said she would tell Toby what I said. He looked back at me. If looks can kill, I will be six feet under. Toby said “Oh Taylor, why would you say that because just a few hours ago you were in the cafeteria with all of our friends and Elena stated that, you are in love with were. So listen to me, and listen well, I do not like you. We are barely even friends and after what you just tried to pull, stay the hell away from me. Hey babe, are you ready to go?” She nodded her head yes. He got into the car, and they left. I was looking at the car. What have I just done? Hopefully, I can just talk to him tomorrow. I had to come up with a lie to cover my tracks. With that, I started to walk home. Once I got home, I yelled for mom to get her advice about this situation. My mom came out of the kitchen. She asked “Taylor, what now?”

I replied “mommy, I need your advice about a problem with a boy that I like.”

My mother said “Okay, come on into the kitchen, I can make you some tea, then we can sit and talk.” I smiled. We walked into the kitchen. My mom made the tea while I sat near the counter. My mom said “, okay, so what is going on, baby girl?”

I replied “Do you remember me telling you about this boy that I like named Toby?” My mom nodded.

But now he is dating a different girl. I saw her today. I was really mad because of everything and I did something stupid. I told a little white lie to her, she flat out said she knew I was lying and that she would talk to Toby about what I said. I honestly thought she was joking when she said she would talk to him. Then Toby came up behind me, and asked what was going on. I said nothing, just letting him know he would be out and then she laughed and told him everything we said. He told me we are not friends anymore and that I needed to leave him alone. What should I do and how do I fix this?”

My mom said “well honey, all I can say is tell him sorry, explain why you said that and the only reason why you said that is because you were angry and you got jealous and that you're sorry. Taylor, you need to know that you don't get everything you want. The world gets harder. I know your father tried to give everything you want and everything you ask for, but you can buy someone’s love or anything like that, because that is not what a relationship is like.” After she said that, I thanked her. I got up and went to go see my dad. My dad was in his office. I knocked. He told me to come in. I said “daddy, I need help….”
