ARIA POV:

As soon as we drove off, I looked out the window. I saw Toby’s face. Then I went out of my mind when my mom said “Aria Marie Moon, what were you thinking? You know I or Jack will hurt you. And what happened to your face?”

I replied “you know that is bullshit. You are not my mother, well not anymore.”

Jack yelled “you best apologize to your mother right now, we don’t want an ungrateful brat.”

I replied," Oh, I know you tried to kill me this morning.”

My mom spoke up and said “ You know what Aria just shut up. And stop spreading your lies. No one will believe you over your parents, who would say you got into a fight with one of the neighbor's kids. So keep that mouth shut. I don’t want to hear from you until dinner is ready. And you had best have it done before 9pm, since it is 2pm. Do I make myself clear?”

I replied “yes, ma’am.” As soon as we got home, I ran into her room and locked my bedroom door. I turned down the radio, grabbed my cell phone and called Toby.

"Hello?" Toby answered.

I replied “Toby, I don't have much time. But I got to tell you something."

He said "What? I don't understand?"

I replied to Toby. "Hold on." Jack had unlocked her door and let himself into my room and saw that I had a book in my hand. He knows that this is my “studying” time. So Jack left the room. I got up and shut the door again. I picked up the phone to talk. I said “meet me at the top of the hill. I will tell you, okay?"

"Okay." Toby said, then we hung up the phone. I went out of my room and went to the kitchen and I realized we actually do need eggs and bread. So I asked his mother if I could go to the store to get a loaf of bread and eggs. My mother gave me permission and money. I left the house and then went to the hill. I found Toby already there. "Follow me," I said to him. But he stopped me and said “come on up here and give me directions.” I did as he said. I was giving him directions. Once, we stopped and Toby asked " So what don't I understand?"

I replied “the thing is, when Jack or my mother is in front of people like your dad or another adult, he acts like he is a nice person and loving stepfather and mother. But when he is alone, they are really evil. I tried to call the police and CPS. They closed the case because I had to say it was anonymous because it would get really bad. I told you this because I like you a lot. And I hope you don’t run away.”

Toby said “ Oh my god. So that is why you didn't say anything, also I am glad you said you like me, because I like you too, and no I won't run away..” Once Toby said that, I heard something behind me and I saw movement that looked like Jack’s pants and I said “we have to hide.” So we did, in the brushes. I was shaking. I am sure he knows this because he was so close to me. Honestly, it felt really nice to have someone this close to me. I peeked out of the bushes and said “thank the lord he is gone.”

Toby said “who?”

I replied “my stepdad, Jack.” I smiled at him and asked “do you really like me even though I am not the prettiest or hottest?”

Toby replied “ Yes. I don’t care what you look like. You are strong and caring, as far as I can tell, you care about everyone else besides yourself.”

I said “hey, I have to go?”

He asked “hey were the eggs and bread for?”

I replied “ Oh, that was the excuse I used to come out here to meet you. And my mom gave me money for the first time and I am going to save it to leave this place.”

Toby replied “well, here you go. I am happy I am able to help you. Even if it is really little.” I smiled, Toby asked “hey can I see you tomorrow?”

I replied “ Yes, meet me right here tomorrow, we can hang out for a little bit.” We started to go Yes directions. I got back to the house. She walked in and Jack was right there and asked “where have you been?”

I replied “the store to get bread and eggs. There was a huge line.”

My mom said “well, thank you sweetie for going to the store.”

Jack became really angry and grabbed my arm really hard as he dragged her into my room. I tried to shield my face. He started beating me again. When he left her room, he filled a bookbag with clothes, money, her cell phone, a sleeping bag, and matches. I waited to get the dinner done and to give Tonya a bath. I started to cry in front of her. Normally, I don’t show how much I am hurting in front of her. But I couldn’t hold it anymore. Tonya asked “sissy, are you okay?”

I replied “yeah, I am just tired.” Yes, I know I lied to her, but it was for her safety. Once, I tucked her into bed. I finished cleaning. Jack did his usual thing, coming out to try to get me to have s*x. I said no and he got angry and handed me back and went into the room with my mom. I went into my room and waited for everyone to fall asleep before leaving. I left her mother a letter on my bed and then left. I went to the secret place where Toby told me he liked me. I will never forget that place. I had shampoo and body wash with me because I was planning to stay there in the woods for a few days. I needed to figure things out. I called Toby to tell him while I was running, so he could barely hear me. When I finally stopped running, he asked me to repeat what I said, so I did. Toby said “I am on my way. I will be there in a little bit.''It was dark outside, so I decided to start a fire. While I was waiting, I got started and I went near the pond. I looked out at it. I don’t know how long I was staring and in my own world, when I heard a stick break behind me. I looked behind me and it was Toby. Toby asked “are you okay?”

I replied “no, I am tired “of getting beat by him.” I started to cry and Toby came up to me and held me in his hands. He said “it is okay, you're safe now.” They didn’t know that Jack was looking for her. And was able to find them because of them talking.

JACK POV:

I was in the bathroom when Star came to me and said “why do you keep doing this to Aria?”

I said “bae, you know what I want from her and she keeps refusing me, she acts like she is better than all of us.”

Star said, “Am I not enough for you?”

I replied “of course you are, but I am just trying to spice up our s****l lives with a third person. And what of a better person than your own daughter?”

Star said “can’t you just leave her alone for a few days? I mean after today, I can guarantee the sheriff Dodger is going to have us on the radar because of Aria’s face. I mean did you have to hit her face?”

I replied “why don’t we go see how her face is actually?” Star nodded her head. And walked before me. Man, this b***h is stupid. I mean yes, she has a nice body, but her daughter is more than unplucked, and has a nicer body than her mother. I mean, I saw Aria's body when she was unconscious because I had to know what she was hiding. No, I am not a perv, but now the only way I can have s*x with her mother now is to picture that tight little body, with her curves. I mean it is making my guy come alive. So I called out Star. I said “hey Star, I think she can wait but I need to be fixed. I need you to take care of me. Right now.”

Star came back and saw what I was talking about and she took off her shirt and pants and thongs. She came towards me and I picked her up and slammed her back against the wall and I forced myself into her. She was not wet really, but I didn’t care. All I know is that I need to get my release right now. Star said “baby, slow down. I want to feel it with you.” But I couldn’t catch my own release. I needed it more and more because I kept picturing Aria’s tight body and her big ass and her bigger t**s than her mother. I just need to keep going. As I did. I wasn’t listening to Star at all. Once I released her and I rode out my high, I put her down. Star said “are you kidding me? You have been doing that every day lately. You won't let me feel it or let me reach my limit. What the f**k? If you want to keep doing that with me, go to your own house and stay away from me for a little bit. I am going to check on my daughters and when I get back you had best be gone.”

I said “wait, I will come with you.” So she walked out and I knew I was in trouble, but she would forgive me once I kissed her and let her sleep in my arms. Literally, the only reason why I am with her is because she has money and she is willing. Hell, I f**k every woman I lay my eyes on. The only one who keeps telling me no is her f*****g daughter, Aria. She will be mine soon. Anyway, I followed Star to Tonya’s room. Tonya was sleeping in her bed. Then we went to the b***h’s room. She opened the door. And what I didn’t expect was that no one was in the room. Star looked at the room, and landed on her bed where there was a note. Star went straight for it.She read it, she let it slip from her fingers. The note said:

“Mom, if you see this note, that means you know I am completely done. I will not go back to a household where my own mother's choice and perv, a woman abuser, stay with her. And that she doesn’t care about her kids. P.S. Jack uses his car every day to see the sluts of the town. If you don’t believe me, here are the pictures. He f***s them in your car. But don’t try to find me because you won't. Once I am on my feet, I will come back to Tonya. Have a nice life with an abuser who likes little girls, so keep an eye out for Tonya. But you won't because you don't care. Whatever, never contact me again because I won't come back.

Aria

I looked at the picture, this today, f**k. How did she get it? But whatever, I have to fix this.

I said “Star, that is not true. I will go find our daughter and take her home.” She didn’t say anything, so I took that opportunity to leave the house. My mind was made up to go get her and hurt her and made sure she would never do that again. I know she likes to go into the woods. So I went into the woods. For about what felt like forty-five minutes, I heard her voice. I found you little b***h. I went into the clearing. Aria saw me and jumped in front of this little boy. Why would she want this little boy when she can be with me as a real man?

ARIA POV:

I jumped in front of Toby. I yelled "What do you want now Jack?"

Jack replied "I came to get you. Your mom is worried sick about you." He was trying to sound concerned because Toby was there.

I replied "I don't care. I'm not coming back until you are out of that house. I'm tired of getting beat. All because I told you no and to get out of my room." Aria had no self-control.

Jack ordered, "Don’t say a word in front of him."

I answered “He already knows. I told him the whole story. I told him everything."

Jack looked the angriest she had ever seen, and said "Oh you did, did you?” Suddenly, Jack pulled out a gun and shot it at the nearby creek. Just at that moment, the police quickly moved in. I looked at them. Jack looked back at me and Toby, and said " You called the police, Aria?" I shook my head no. Then I looked at Toby.

Toby said “ No she didn’t, but I did. She might be scared to say something for help. I won't let her go through this alone. You will not keep hurting her when I am around. I am, however, not scared of you. You go after females because you are protective and a weakling.” Then, he lifted up his shirt and everyone saw the wire. Toby said "I can't let him hurt you anymore. I like you so much. I needed to protect you, somehow. Are you mad at me? Please don’t be mad at me, Aria. And Dad, that is all the proof you will need to keep him in jail for a while."

I looked at him and thought how in the world could I be mad at him for helping me, so I shook my head no, all I did was hug Toby and thank him. Toby looked into my eyes and smiled at me. I kissed him on his cheek. Toby kissed me back but he went right to my lips. Then I heard my sister yell “Aria, you're okay?” She ran up to me. My little sister and mother found us and saw Jack in handcuffs. They also saw that I was kissing Toby.

My mother walked up to her. "Aria Marie Moon! Get over here right now!" She demanded and I obeyed.

I said “hi mom.” Yes I was nervous as hell because of what would happen, because my mom was really in love with Jack.

My mom said “What is going on here?”

I said “since you didn’t want to listen to me about Jack, so I had to tell someone. I have scars and bruises to prove it. And this is Toby. He is the sheriff’s son. He helped me when my own mother didn’t even care. Why didn’t you do anything? You should have protected me. I also ended up calling Aunt Claire to come get me. She is on her way here. I asked her to adopt me but she said no but she would make sure that Jack is in prison to stay away from me.” Toby walked over to me and hugged me.

Toby asked “honestly, are you mad at me for breaking my promise to you?”

I replied “not at all. Thank you Toby and Mr. Dodger. Oh Toby, this is my “mom” (I put in air quotes”) Star. And this is my little sister Tonya.

Toby replied “Nice to meet you both. Hey dad, can we come with you?” His dad nodded his head. Yes. We went with him. We went to Toby’s house where his mom and dad also live. His mom was at home and waiting for us. It was just early morning. The light for daylight was coming up. When we arrived, the guys got out of the car first. His dad tried to touch my shoulder, but I jerked away quickly.

He said “I was just going to tap you on the shoulder. That is all.” Toby’s mother came down off the porch and gave Toby and his dad a hug. She tried to hug me too, but I wouldn’t let her close enough to touch her.
