I glower at Grace, torn between putting her in her place and chasing after my girlfriend. Grace shakes her head. “So sorry, Noah. I promised to be kind, but not necessarily to you.”
“And that was kindness?”
“She needs to know that you’re just stringing her along. She deserves that much, doesn’t she?”
“I’m not stringing her along.” I make every effort to keep my temper.
