Dear Ava,
I know, I know. I can see the raised eyebrow look on your face right now and I wouldn’t blame you if you trashed this letter as soon as you saw the Florida postmark, but I had to write and tell you what’s happened, so please Ava, read this through to the end.
I’m bursting with hopeful news and I’ve got to tell someone.
I had a meeting with my lawyer today. Ava, he told me that some new evidence has been brought forward that’s going to be able to substantiate my alibi. Can you believe it? I can’t. Apparently someone’s said that they saw me at the same time that the two young girls were murdered, and it was nowhere near where their bodies were found. I don’t know who saw me but I want to give them a great big bear hug, because their evidence
