When I walked into the room, they were both having a conversation, and Eva was giggling over something. I just wish she wasn't saying anything embarrassing about me.
I stared at Astrid and couldn't believe how beautiful she is and how fortunate I am to have her as my mate. I don't think I could have asked for more. Was Astrid laughing too? Her eyes sparkled with a visible smile. Oh my god, she looked even more stunning than before. I hoped she'd be just as comfortable with me.
Eva, I believed, deserved a reward for not only helping Astrid speak but also bringing a smile to her face.
