Rafael's POV:
It was a wretched day, and Bryan had devised a perfect plan to get killed by me. As my second in command, I regretted choosing him as my assistant. Even after a hundred explanations, he persists in interfering with my business. He's irritating to the core, and he's also stupid. I'm sorry I gave him a job in the first place.
Whenever I assigned him a task, he effortlessly shifted the responsibility back to me, proving himself nothing more than an unwelcome burden. If only killing someone without a valid reason were socially acceptable; I would have killed him a million times over.
Then again, that i***t hasn't found his mate yet, and I couldn't kill a full-grown vampire without his mate's blood. I hope he finds one soon so that I may share this stupid garbage with someone.
