Without seeming to do so, Angela had , watched the whole exchange with Harvey Sears. She couldn't hear, their words, but it seemed to her that the man had treated her husband with a disrespectful familiarity which should have made David livid with anger, but it didn't. She wondered briefly whether he and David knew each other, but she was sure he would have told her if that was true.
