Davy was easy-going enough, but who knew about “Jaqson”. He could be a shooter first and a question-asker second. And Ricardo (Cash?) could take umbrage having two newbie detectives interrogating his “mole”. “Do you like saimin?” I asked. “Lacey here can never get enough of it. She sucks back those noodles like a waterpark sea lion does herring.” Davy looked at Rey with some sort of respect and I stuck out my tongue as she offered a muffled snort. “I love saimin. Albert’s three blocks over makes the best, never mind the barbecue beef and chicken sticks!” I jerked a thumb at the door. “Let’s go.” Rey jerked a thumb at the floor.
