_5:00AM. LISA GROUP PENTHOUSE._
Gunmetal on the table.
Knives. Clips.
Cassie was checking her pistol.
No fear. Only fire.
Kyle Michael watched her. 5 of his men at the doors.
TH9 stood behind her.
“They’re coming,” Kyle Michael said.
“Vera’s old 47.
They think because you’re my weakness,
they can take my throne.”
Cassie racked the gun. “Let them come.
Daniel married Mom.
But he had Clare.
And Clare ran them over.”
She looked up. Eyes cold.
“I found out 10 years back
that he stole from Mom too.
I’m back for my legacy, Kyle.
All of it.”
Kyle Michael stepped to her. “You don’t have to fight, dearest.”
Cassie smiled. Deadly.
“I trained for this.
Hand. Knife. Gun.
TH9 are with me.
Your 5 are with you.
We end them at sunrise.”
_5:15AM. THE 47’S WAREHOUSE._
47 men. Vera’s old enemies.
All of them wanting Kyle Michael’s chair.
Okoro stepped forward. “Boss.
Heard you got soft.
Got a girl now.”
Cassie stepped out from behind Kyle Michael.
Gun in one hand. Knife in the other.
TH9 behind her.
“Soft?” Cassie said.
“My father married Lisa.
But he loved Clare.
And Clare killed my mom and his grandma.
You cheered.”
She shot Okoro in the knee.
“Now I’m back for what’s mine.
And I’m not his weakness.
I’m his storm.”
She lunged. Stabbed a knife into the next man’s eye.
He screamed. She smirked.
“None of you get out of here alive by sunrise.”
Kyle Michael moved like a demon.
He shot one. Slammed another’s head into the wall until it caved.
Blood sprayed across his suit and he didn’t flinch.
Cassie shot another in the mouth mid-sentence.
The 9 and the 5 kept killing.
A machine of bullets and blades.
_5:16AM. SUNRISE._
The warehouse went red.
TH9 + Cassie.
Kyle Michael + his 5.
Against 47.
Cassie didn’t miss.
Knife in one throat.
Bullet in the next.
Hand to hand like TH9 taught her.
She moved like a demon in human skin.
Kyle Michael fought beside her.
Not to protect her.
With her.
Two demons.
One war.
_5:45AM._
47 down.
Cassie breathing hard. Blood on her.
Not hers.
Kyle Michael came to her. “You good?”
Cassie nodded. Wiped a blade on her pants.
“They wanted your weakness, Kyle.
They got my rage.”
She looked at the sunrise.
“Daniel covered for Clare.
He stole from Mom.
But I’m back.
For my legacy.”
Kyle Michael touched her face. His knuckles were bloody.
“Then we take it.
Together.”
Cassie looked at the bodies.
“And I don’t mind taking his blood to do it.”
