Salome and Jeremiah’s POV “They are waiting at a small place down the road, very quiet and perfect for a private talk,” Román said, his face splitting into a wide, cheerful grin. I gave him a quick nod and grabbed my bag. “Thanks, Román. I will be back before you know it.” The door clicked shut behind me. Outside, the island air felt damp and cool against my skin.
