Chapter 26 – Jose's Mars-Mex Cornucopia
Dale parked the truck in the garage of an abandoned auto repair shop. The shop's windows were broken, and the walls were covered with graffiti, but there weren't any recent signs of squatters. It seemed a safe enough place to hide the truck for the few minutes it would take to meet with Mitch. Assuming, of course, that no one had witnessed him hiding it. For all he knew, the cops were just seconds behind him. There was nothing to be done about those fears, though, so he put them aside and set out on foot towards the restaurant.
