A growl immediately crawled out of my throat when I heard that man said that he was going to be crowned Alpha King, that means that everything that he was planning as I had been suspecting when he said he was going to use me for a bait.
He was planning to hurt Arnold!
I was immediately washed all over with regret and drenched completely by it. I should have listened to Arnold and just stayed put at his huge house till he had eventually returned. This was probably one of the enemies that he was talking about. Even though I was confused by what they meant by this title Alpha, I quickly brushed that concern under the carpet. After all, there are more worse things to be worried about: the fact that this man was planning to probably kill Arnold and another one was my leg.
