CASSANDRA POV
Chris looked at me with a determined expression. "After graduation, you have to marry me," he stated firmly.
"Why are you being so insistent?" I retorted.
"I am dead set on getting married, and I want it to be with you!" Chris declared, his face scrunched up in annoyance.
"Proposing in the car? Where's the romance in that?" I questioned.
"Romance is not really my thing, you know that," Chris replied.
"You're impossible! How can I possibly love you?" I exclaimed.
"I'm good-looking, I'm big, and I love you more than anything. It's baffling that you won't say yes to me!" Chris said, raising his eyebrows.
"In a nutshell, my mother will be speaking to your grandmother about our engagement next month!" Chris announced confidently.
