I can feel the ray of the sun already shining through the window despite the curtain that covers it. I slowly opened my eyes and is greeted by the lovely face of my mate laying in my arms. Her face is serene and I could hear her breathing peacefully. A warm feeling crosses my heart when she stirs but didn't wake up.
I remember the previous night when we decided to head into our room after spending hours of intimacy inside the library. We were both exhausted but happy to be back in each other's arms at last.
"Vincent, are you awake?”
My thoughts are interrupted with a question coming from my father on the mind link. His voice has sent warning signals through my senses. I knew he would call me sooner or later.
"I am, father."
I made a short reply and then slowly move
