Chapter 3: She's Weird;and so this Feelings

625 Words
"Singrid Medina?Even her name is scary" Raven said and laughed. She's a pal. I met her in a billiard parlour near our school. Not a typical girl, strong haircut, cool moves, he dressed and behaved like us, but I don't think she has dated a girl nor has a plan of doing so. And she's good at billiards. I told her about the girl, and even she found her weird. "It sounds like an ancient name" I said. Well, that's basically better than my girlish name. Aist! Why do parents ask others for their child’s name? Can't they think of it themselves? " Raven?" I called her. She stopped mopping and faced me. "I think I like her" She did not respond right away, so I looked at her. She's looking at me intently as if weighing if he heard things right. "Seriously?" she asked. I nodded "Seriously." She then laughed so hard and so loud that I started to get annoyed . Has she been watching many comedy movies for the fast few days and she finds my confession funny? I get a billiard ball and aim my hands-holding it-towards their glass window. And even before it shattered into pieces, she stopped immediately and intercepted. "Asshole!not our window" I put the ball in it's place while she gasped for air. The asshole was agitated.. "Listen" "You only say that you liked her because when you met her you were in a complicated situation, and she helped you. That's not love, you are just moved because someone helped you, not because of your face or your money. You are grateful, not in love." Her words hit me. I grabbed my bagpack and strode outside the billiard parlour. I can't afford to be late again. I might get subjected to interrogation again just like last night if ever. Why is being late a big deal these days? I still go to school and that's what is important. "You only say that you liked her because when you met her you were in a complicated situation, and she helped you. That's not love, you are just moved because someone helped you, not because of your face or your money. You are grateful, not in love", her words keep echoing in my mind. Maybe she's right and I'm just confused about my feelings. I got to my classroom in no time. The class hasn't started yet. I glanced at her seat and found her resting her head on the table. I get my phone and play mobile legends. The morning class ended. It's already our lunch break . Unlike yesterday, I stopped staring at her and tried to focus on the discussion, though I stole glances at times. I put down my tray of food on the table and started to eat. I picked this spot in the cafeteria on purpose. Here I can see the bench she's sitting at the moment. I guess she has no plan to eat. What do those girls usually say when I catch them staring while I'm eating, and I offer them my food? ''Seeing you eating makes us feel full''. Maybe that's exactly what she feels right now. Just the sight of that man playing makes her tummy full. Tsk, such stupidity! Oh! I got my phone and opened my f*******: account. I entered the man's name in the search bar and stalked him. Tsk! What made her like this man? He' s not even that handsome. Well, what to expect? Girls like masculine boys. I smirked upon seeing his status. "Ow! In a relationship, sorry girl he's taken already" . I felt relieved and tossed my phone back in my bag. Today's menu is great. I definitely eat a lot.
