Chapter 16

"Shiseki, open the door!" Keii asks worry can be heard through his voice.

"Nii nii-sama! Let us in! You need to eat!"

"SHUT UP! LEAVE ME ALONE!" they heard Shiseki yelled. Ever since that incident, Shiseki hasn't left his room. Why? Kimayu didn't let him explain? Why? she didn't hear him out? As those thoughts swirling in his mind, he heard a loud bang, and he already knew that the door has been broken down by someone.

"SHISEKI, WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING??!!!!" Shirokuro yelled.

"Ikaru-san, get yourself together!"

"Shut up and leave me alone...."

"Can you care to explain what happened? Look at you, Shiseki! You're a mess!" Keii said as he looks at his depressed younger brother.

"Nii nii-sama...."

"K-Kimayu... She broke up with me...." As he said those sentences, he remembers how it happens.

Shiseki is currently on his way to Hanzen; he asks him to fill out the paperwork of their family for him. When he reaches his destination, he startles when he saw Tenba talking to Hanzen. That's rare; why would Tenba be talking to Hanzen and the looks he is having right now are kind of scary. Nevertheless, he spoke.

"Hanzen-san, this is what you ask for!" Hanzen looks at him and nods Shiseki simply nods in return, and he began to take his leave. On the corner of his eye, he saw Tenba smirk. What is that smirk for? When he left the room, he saw Hikari waiting outside.

"Hikari, it's been a while!"

"Ah! Shiseki, I need your help! Wait for me after school, okay? Bye!" Hikari quickly said and leave. 

She leaves before Shiseki can even reject her sighing, Shiseki decided to just help her anyway. When the school end he waited for Kimayu and told her that he has something to do. Not even long before he leaves Kimayu alone, he saw Hikari with a troubled face.

"Hikari, are you alright?" Hikari look at him with a troubled face, and before he knew it. 

Hikari was kissing him with a hand on his nape; out of shock, he holds her waist, and at the same time, he saw Kimayu came in the corner. When Hikari pulls away, Shiseki quickly looks at Kimayu; his eyes widening, he can see the hurt look on her eyes, his heart shatters when she runs away.

"What do you think you just did, Hikari?!" Shiseki yell he startles when Hikari puts a paper in his hand with a face saying sorry. He brushes it off and quickly follows Kimayu; when he got caught up with her pace, he quickly grabs her hand and hugs her tight.

"Mayu, hear me out, please...." Shiseki said, nuzzling his head to her shoulder as he tightens the hug.

"Shiseki... Let me go...." Hearing Kimayu's voice makes his heart broke.

"Please, Mayu...."

"LET ME GO!" Kimayu yells as she repeatedly punches Shiseki's chest, tears pouring down her eyes.

"Mayu, please...."

"Eh~~ what's happening?" Shiseki loosens his grip on the voice resulting in Kimayu getting away from him. Shiseki looks at Tenba with a glare, only receiving a smirk from Tenba before he leaves.

Shiseki is currently waiting by the gate of the school, wishing that he will see Kimayu and will let him explain. After seems, like 30 minutes pass by, Kimayu came out of the school; he quickly approaches her when she saw him, she quickly looks down.

"Mayu, please hear me--" before Shiseki can continue any further, he was stopped by Kimayu saying.

"Let's break up, Shiseki...." Shiseki froze, hearing the words that fall out of her mouth. 

It's as if the world stops; when he heard those words from Kimayu, she looks at him emotionless as she began to leave Shiseki alone. Fifteen minutes pass by Shiseki was still there standing; he doesn't know what to do anymore. Is this the end of the story?

"Then Shiseki, where's the paper Hikari gave?" His big brother asks.

"Huh?"

"Maybe there's some clue in there, right, Ikaru-san?" Beni said as Keii nod. Shiseki gave the paper to Keii; when he opens the paper, he looks at it, confused.

"What does it says nii-sama?" Yoru asks his big brother. Keii looks at them. Confuse and shows them the paper.

"How strange, numbers are only written here...."

"Numbers?" Shirokuro ask.

"20, 5, 14, 2, 1, 13, 9, 25, 1? What does this mean?" Beni asks suspiciously.

"Maybe it's a clue!" Yoru said. Shiseki began to wonder too. 

Why would Hikari give him a paper full of numbers; Shiseki began to think of it thoroughly, then he remembers something. When he and Hikari was still a child they have a secret code for messaging each other; Shiseki forces himself to remember what those codes mean 20, 5, 14, 2, 1, 13, 9, 25, 1. Those are the numbers she gave, then it explains why she has that expression on her!

"Shiseki, do you know?" Keii asks his brother. Shiseki nod and look at his brother with a dark aura surrounded him.

"What does it says nii nii-sama?" Yoru asks the others nod waiting for his response.

"It says... Tenba Miya...."
