Fate Leads Me To You

Chapter 9

Kimayu was about to go back to her seat when she saw Shiseki and the same girl again, and it looks like Shiseki is enjoying her company. Kimayu was jealous, but she doesn't have the right to be jealous; she wasn't even Shiseki's girlfriend! Her heartache at the thought as she began to take her to leave tears to fall from her beautiful face, she can't take it, she doesn't want to see any more of those smiles he was showing her. Going outside the library, she encounters Tenba; she looks down so he won't be able to see her crying. Greeting him with her head down, she questions why he is here.

"There's a new sweet store near the library, and besides. I don't have school today. Ne, why is your head down?" he asks. Kimayu tensed up at the question; she doesn't want Tenba to see her crying. But without her realizing, her head was already lifted by Tenba. Seeing Tenba's shock face, she suddenly feels herself cry more as she wraps her hand around him and cry to his chest.

Tenba was mad even though he doesn't know the real reason why his future wife is crying; he has this feeling that it was because of Shiseki. Sighing in frustration, he hugs Kimayu back while drawing circles into her back. Using his fingers to calm her down, at least because of what happened. He comes closer to Kimayu like this. 

Looking up, he saw Shiseki walk out of the library and sees the two of them hugging each other; he shows him a smirk that he knew will make Shiseki pissed. And it looks likes it works because Shiseki walks back inside the library; he suddenly startle when Kimayu pulls back from the hug, thanking him while looking at him cutely. If Tenba didn't know the word self-control maybe, he already kisses Kimayu right now. He holds Kimayu's hand, and she looks at him, confused.

"If you're still upset, you can go with me to the sweet shop!" Kimayu blushes a little and nods. She was embarrassed that Tenba saw her crying.

Shiseki is on his way home when he encounters Shima Sumaru; he doesn't want to see nor talk to anyone other than Saru. He knew only Saru was the only one who can comfort him, thinking of ways to avoid Kimayu. An idea came to his mind. Approaching Sumaru, he began to ask.

"Sumaru-san can you do me a favor?"

Kimayu was walking back to the Ikaru house with Tenba on her side; she doesn't want Tenba to walk her home, but Tenba insisted. So she doesn't have a choice. When they reach the house, they stop in front for a moment to say farewell to each other.

"Thank you for the company today Miya-san, I really appreciate it..." she said, looking down. She was really embarrassed about what happened, to the point that she doesn't want to look Miya Tenba in the eye. She only looks up when she feels that Tenba was playing with her hair so gently. Her eyes went wide when Tenba suddenly kisses her forehead and mumble something; the only thing she heard was the word you will and soon.

"Just Tenba is fine if I heard you call me Miya-san again. I'll get mad!" he said while pouting. Kimayu giggles as she enters the house, saying goodbye. As Tenba watches her enter the house. Only one thought came to his mind. The sentence he just said...

"You will be my bride soon... Kimayu..."

Kimayu enter the house seeing Shiseki sitting there; was he waiting for her? Was he mad? Slowly she walks closer to him. Noticing her presence, Shiseki looks at her with a sad face. He began to stands up and said the words that shock her.

"I ask Sumaru-san if she can handle everything; I don't want to be left out of school, so I made a decision. Sumaru-san will handle everything she already agrees so... You're going to move to the Shima house tomorrow. So please be ready..."

Kimayu hasn't seen Shiseki in a week currently; she was living in the Wakasa estate. And today she's going back to school; she was kind of nervous to see Shiseki. After all, he is avoiding her; when she leaves the Ikaru house. He didn't even bother saying goodbye. Sighing, Kimayu walk inside the campus only to see Shiseki with that girl again; it seems like they are really gone too close this past week. Or she really was just Shiseki's girlfriend? Even Kimayu got closer to Tenba this past week too...

"Neko-chan!" looking up, Kimayu saw Tenba. She greets him as Tenba holds her hand.

"It's been a while since you got to school, and I think you really miss the school. So let's go, shall we!"

"Um, okay...!" Kimayu said, looking down as Tenba drag her.

Shiseki was walking to his classroom, earlier he saw Kimayu but didn't approach her. Why? He is still avoiding Kimayu; he knew that he miss Kimayu so much. But he still can't take it seeing the two of them together. Ever since then, he was taking... He hates to admit it, but... He was taking love advice to Hikari; that's why Hikari is with him right now.

"Eh? Isn't that the girl you like?" Hikari asks. 

Shiseki looks back only for his heart to broke; the two of them are there holding hands while walking. Did Tenba already ask her out? Are the two already a couple? Did he lose to Tenba? Walking faster, ignoring the call of his friends. He loses. And because of that, he will never talk to Kimayu anymore; how could he forgot about the tradition and the law? That's not him! He needs to back off now before it's too late; he needs to make way for Miya Tenba.
