Chapter-2 "Missing"

Television-

"Here we are presenting the brand new season of your all time favorite show the Tales of Mystery. The show which have achieved many awards through out the it's seven years of success. A show with the out unique concept ever seen before. A show where the viewer is given a chance to guess the criminal at the end of every episode to win or achieve exciting rewards. Here we are with the eight season of Tales of Mystery."

"Alba... Alba.. " a sound comes from downstairs.

"Yes mom" Alba shouted

"Come down! Your Dad is home. Dinners ready!"

"Coming... "

Alba switches the television of and moves downstairs. She washes her hand and moves to the dining table. She pulls the chair out quite and take her seat. Her Father and Younger sister were already sitting there.

"How was you day in school Alba? " Alba's father John asked humbly.

"Great Dad!..How was yours? "

"Your Dad never had a easy day. He is a man who smiles even after having rough days. "

Alba's mother Christina answered entering the room with two bowls in her hand. Christina puts one in centre and one in front of John.

"Steve told me about the incident happened today"

"Oh lord! what had she done now? "

Christina asked

"Her Sherlocks duty...hehehe.. " Abra, Alba's younger sister whispered.

"Steve told me that you helped him in solving a case. He mentioned that you solved it like you already know the criminal ...he was thanking you. "

"Now that's my daughter.. " Christina laughed

"That's why I had brought something special for you...here it is, your favorite pancakes..for my little Sherlock"

"What about me? " Abra cried

"Here is one for you too my dear"

"Thank you Dad " Alba thanked

Alba was happy by her dad's reaction but was thinking something else. She was quite there for some time.

"How can they celebrate about such an idiotic case. It was nothing ..i want something big, something challenging..."

She thought.

She finished her dinner and went to her bedroom. She was searching something and someone knocked the door.

"Alba? "

"You can come in Dad "

John enters the room and they sit on the bed.

"Show me your hand".

"Daaad? "

"Just Show me"

Alba shows her hand.

John took a wrist watch from his shirt's pocket and put it on her hand.

"Wow! It's the Sona limited watch ...how do.. how you know about that I was going to ask you for it... " Alba asked. Her excitement can be easily seen in her words.

"Your mom told me about it. This is the special gift I mentioned and you my dear, you are the special gift for me and Christina."

Alba hugged John tightly and said

"Thank you so much Dad...I love you! "

"I love you too my dear "

Next day Alba went for her college wearing the wrist watch.

"Nice watch!"

"Thanks Jessi! Dad gifted me for helping uncle Steve solving the case yesterday"

"Well then solve one more case for me too. Remember that assignment we were working on...Only two of the entries are remaining...One is from Abram and I will ask him about it today, let me handle him and the second one is Nadia.."

Alba moved her head back looking for Nadia.

"Is she absent again?"

"Yes she is. I asked everyone but no one has no idea where she is. No messages.. no calls...and that's what I want you to do.. "

"What?"

"Visit Nadia and ask her for her entry as she is still in our group."

"OK I will visit her after school"

Alba looked back again at Nadia's chair. She then started doing some work.

On the other hand, Inspector Steve and Julie along with her fellow police were searching for something in the city's forest tunnel.

"Sir.... look here! " one of them shouted.

All of them rushed towards the voice. An pungent smell of blood started taking over the area. They covered their nose and move forward. There was a dead body lying beneath the tunnel.

Steve sat down next to the body and started examining it. The body had a lot of scars and two large wound.

"Seems like someone had stabbed him with a sharp object maybe like knives."

"Steve something's on his hand" Julie said pointing her finger towards the body's hand.

Steve opens body's palm and took out a piece of paper. He opens the folded paper.

Something was written on it.

"Chaos are coming" Steve dictated.

Steve and Julie looked at each other.

After school Alba visited Nadia's house. It was a big house seems to be a bungalow towards the forest.

She knocked the door for quite long but no one answered. She then searched for any door bell around but the door opened.

"Who's this?" a woman in black dress with curly hair of about 30 asked opening half the door holding it tight.

"Hello Ma'am I am Alba.. I am Nadia's classmate and I am looking for her. "

The lady closes the door immediately without replying.

Alba was surprised and a bit pissed.

"That was completely rude!" She thought and started leaving for her house but hears the sound of door opening again and turns back.

Now there was an another lady of about early 40s wearing a well dress.

"Who you told you are? " She asked humbly.

"I am Alba, Nadia's classmate"

"She is not here right now"

"Well can you just give me some phone number so I can try to contact her as it is quite important for me."

"She doesn't have any numbers".

"That's OK... just let me know the areas number where she is now. My uncle knows how to contact like this."

"We don't anything like this.. sorry but you can just leave"

Alba soon started noticing the change in the lady's voice and now she know something is wrong.

"Is everything okay ma'am.. You sounds worried. Is there anything you want to let me know. I will just keep that between us."

"No there is nothing.. You can leave. I will let you know when she will be back" She then closed the door.

Next day in her college Alba tells Jessica about the incident happened yesterday.

Jessica face turned down.

"What happened Jessi? "

"Well you should know something!"

" What's that? "

" She is not seen for quite a while "

"what do you mean?"

"She... She's missing! "
