Elise looked at Edward and said, "There's no way it was his sister. She was a celebrity."
"A celebrity?"
I was stunned. I couldn't believe it.
How could this be? Colin told me that he had returned to the Lindsay's family house. Why was he here? What was going on?
"Who is she?"
"Blake Francis, General Francis' daughter."
"General Francis?" I asked curiously.
The usual cheekiness on my face had faded.
"General Francis is a close friend of Vihaan Lindsay. Blake has been mixing with all sorts of people in the entertainment industry. Apparently, General Francis doesn't like that, so he is urging her to retire and marry someone reliable. From the looks of it, he plans to marry his daughter into the Lindsay family."
