There were about five women in this group. And one of them was dressed impressively. A dignified aura surrounded her and it looked like the other women were just fawning over her. So I knew instantly she was Bridget. Younger than I imagined. Perhaps around my age. And yet, I didn’t know who she was. Never heard of her. “Miss Bridget,” I extended my hand towards her for a handshake but she just stared at it, her brows crunching up in disgust like the thought of touching me made her want to puke. Awkwardly, but smoothly, I returned my hand to my side, the smile not once leaving my face. “Forgive me for not coming to greet you earlier. My name is Evelyn, Luna of the Shadow pine pack.” She rolled her eyes, like she wasn’t interested in that information. Why did she call me here then?
