The surprising thing about Alex’s hunt party were the amount of people that had turned up for it. I didn’t think there’d be this many. Even Gideon was frowning.
The walls were lined with glowing lanterns, chandeliers hanging out from every corner, round tables a little bit cramped together. But I could see its purpose.
There were a lot of people. Some I’ve never even heard of. I stuck by Gideon’s side though, arms linked with his as he proudly introduced me to people I have not met.
