The next morning, Gideon was out early with his beta to attend one of his Alpha friend’s function. I’d spoken to Rosalie then, about everything Cyrus told me despite him telling me not to tell it to anyone.
To my surprise, Rosalie agreed I couldn’t tell Gideon just yet. Mostly because he might really have to kill my foster parents if everything Cyrus told me was right.
Which brought us to this stage, where we were sneaking off alone, to the Moonfall pack.
I was surprised to find that there were no guards at the gate and even when we drove in, the pack house was quiet, dull, almost empty. It wasn’t usually like this.
“Why does this place seem… deserted?” Rosalie asked and I frowned, going up to the front door just as the handle turned and someone opened it from inside.
