Rosalie was in the garden when I met her, tending to flowers. But I knew she was only doing it to distract herself.
She turned when she noticed me and then I waved at her with a smile. She didn’t smile back. She just wiped her hands and faced me.
“Here to talk?” She asked and I shrugged my shoulders.
“What do you think? I feel lost after what just happened.”
“I don’t blame you.” She sighed heavily and then we sat on a swing close by.
I’d ordered someone to bring ice cream and it arrived then. It was a bit hot out here so it was perfect.
“You also think I am over reacting, don’t you?”
I shook my head. “Not until I know the full story.”
“There’s no story, really.” She looked away with guilt. “This is just me projecting my fears onto him.”
