Ami Paris. I was really in Paris. And I was so excited it was taking everything I had not to press my nose up against the tinted glass of the car like a child. “I can’t believe you did this.” Behind me I heard him chuckle. The whole flight over he had kept a respectable distance but he reached for me now, turning me away from the city I had always wanted to see. His whiskey eyes met mine and his smile was soft. ”Why?” His question took me by surprise. Why?
