Chapter 8 HazelThe world slowly came back into focus. The same technician had a startled look on his face. The hand clutching the cellophane wrapped mint dropped the candy. Her knees gave way and Hazel fell to the floor. The same room. The same technician. She hadn’t gone anywhere. The space behind her eyes ached. Correction.
