At the end of the day, Cameron decides to go out with Giovanni for a drink in D'Parks Restaurant, named so because it's attached to a park where customers can come, sit and enjoy the cool breeze from the environment.
He would also love Matthew to come along, to pair up with Giovanni as non-friends who are more loving and intimate than friends. He fears that if he becomes friends with these two, the work relationship they maintain which is excellent would be diminished.
They would no longer be serious with what they are asked to do and as a result the refinery may crumble. He prefers their relationship going this way.
