He stares at her intensely while waiting for her response. "I wasn't born with it, I developed it over time to cope with depression and distraction."
"What do you mean?" He asks since he doesn't understand.
"When I was a teenager, I always had a series of crushes on guys and most of them weren't reciprocated, they didn't even seem to notice me because I wasn't rich. Sometimes I had depression over this and even when I grew older to my late teens, I would always be distracted from my work trying to get a guy to know about my feelings."
She pauses and thinks about it, what she is saying, how she felt those days. Then she continues.
"I'm really grateful to God for giving me the ability to let go and not feel any crush towards anybody. Now I don't have to try to figure out if someone loves
