The bills kept springing up left, right, and center. So, he picked up extra jobs wherever he could in order to better support his family, working his a*s off in the process to be able to pay his rent as required, as well as send his kids to school, and take care of other bills. This ensured that he was not home at most times. He sold newspapers, various tabloids, and magazines, which created an extra stream of income from his commissions.
