Five o’clock in the morning. And I am still at sleep, I heard the sound of the door and I woke up.
Oh my god, it five o’clock in the morning and and Ben hasn’t been back yet. That really amazed me. And I think I had the door unlocking let me go and check who could that be.
“Hello!!, is anyone there?”
And I heard someone snoring on the sitting room and I got scared but I continued.
“Ben is that you?”
I am surprised to find Ben sleeping on the couch.
“Ben wake up”. I tried waking him up.
“Mmmm, what Ashley?, can’t your see I’m sleeping “
“I can!! , but u sleeping on the wrong place I guess”.
“Why don’t you leave me alone, Ashley I’m so got damn tired”.
“Leave you alone, what do you mean by that?”
“I mean leave me alone I want to sleep, can’t you see I’m tired”.
“What??!, Ben wake up we need to talk”. I’m angry now and he is not even paying attention to to me.
“I said wake up we need to talk “. Shaking him.
“oh baby we haaad so much fine last night”.
“what?”
I’m shocked of what he saying and I couldn’t understand the whole thing but we need to talk. But he continued with his and not giving me even the single answer. Ben drunk! That so surprising to me. And who is he calling baby?. Is he cheating?.
I left Ben on the couch , and went upstairs to take a shower because I am going to work today .
Two hours later
I’m done now, ready for work but I’m angry at Ben. And he waken up by the my footsteps.
“Oh my god , this headache is killing me. morning baby. He tried to kiss me but push him away. Who can kiss someone who smell alcohol all over his body.
“Morning”
“Okay, and what is all that about?”
He was surprised by my behaviour.
“See you when I get back”.
I take my laptop bag and leave.
Ben is left in the house surprised by Ashley’s behaviour, and continues to make a coffee for himself because of the hangover.
I wonder what wrong with Ashley, I guess she is still angry because I came home drunk. But what she expected me to do because she refused to have s*x with me last night and I was angry so I decided to leave because I couldn’t stand her. But I guess I was wrong to leave her alone , that must have made her worried. But what should I do? , should I apologise or do something?. Agh man let me call Mike maybe he will help me figure something out.
Ben called mike.
“Hey man, what’s up?”
“Hey man , I’m good and you?”
“I’m good, I just wanna ask you something?”
“Wait!!, can you tell me where you were last night or should I say now”
“Yeah man, about that… “
“You got tell me man, cause Ashley was so fuckin worried about you last night “
“I messed up dude, but if you can come over at my house then we can talk”.
“Okay man, I will be there in 15 minutes “
“Okay Thanks man, see you then “
“Alright sharp”
Ben dropped the call.
Fifteen minutes later.
Ben had the knock on the door and go to the door and opens it.
“Oh it you Man, come on in”.
“Thanks man”
“Anything to drink?”
“Give me a beer man”.
“Coming right up”.
“So tell me what happened last night ?”
Ben gave Mike a beer.
“Thanks man”
They both sat down on the couch.
“okay man, what happened is that me and my wife, we got in a little argument and then I was so pissed, so I decided to go for a fresh air”.
“But, what kind of argument that would made you leave your woman stressed and worried about you?”
“It just that we have been married for three months and I have known her more than that but it seems like she doesn’t trust me”.
“and what made you say that?”
“She refused to make love with me and I didn’t understand why”
“so?”
“Come on man, I was in the mood for that and besides I want kids now”
They both laugh.
“But you weren’t supposed to leave her like that no, I’m totally against you on that”.
“I know “
“So what you gonna do about that?”
“Actually I don’t know that why I called you man , I want you to help me on that”.
“I think you should do something nice and apologies to her”.
“you mean like a dinner or something else?”
“A dinner will be nice, so you should do it”.
“Then if you say so I will do it as long as she forgives me, But….”
Ben pause.
“what now?”
“I..I..”
“Come on man, speak man, you stressing me now “
“I slept with someone”
“You what!”
Mike got choked by the beer.
“Yeah I know, and it wrong I admit it. But please don’t tell her or anyone else”.
“You crazy man, you so f*****g crazy. Like how can you do this to her?”
“Man I was drunk and I couldn’t control myself.”
“You messed up , and big time “
“I know, but please don’t tell her “
“I won’t, cause I don’t want see her crying or hurt, cause this will really break her heart. And by the way who is this girl you slept with?”
“I can’t tell you man, cause I was drunk you”.
“But all I can say to you is that you have break your marriage and if I were you I wouldn’t repeat the same thing again”.
“Yeah and I won’t”.
“Okay man let leave you with your mess for and don’t forget about the dinner”.
“Thanks for stepping by man , don’t worry I won’t forget”
“Okay see you man “.
Ben is now alone preparing for a dinner and all of the suddenly his phone rings.
“Hey beautiful, I’m good , so when I see you again?. Okay see you then bye love you “
He hangs up.
It now five o’clock in the afternoon and my car is parked outside. and Ben has prepared everything for her.
He open the door for me and tries to kiss me but I refused.
“Okay baby I’m sorry for last, and I know I shouldn’t forced you to do something you not ready to do and I know I shouldn’t have left you here by yourself and I should have picked up your call or don’t switch of my phone at all. I’m sorry baby , I promise to never act like that again. So please forgive me”.
He kneel down and hold my hands his knees
“But Ben you stressed me out the whole night
Ben: I know baby, that I prepared something for you so that you could see how sorry I am”.
“Really baby?”
“Yes baby , let me close your eyes”
“Okay but please don’t make me Hurt myself”.
We both laugh.
“Okay I’m gonna count to three. 1.,2,3, ta da.”
“Oh baby, you made a dinner for us I’m so happy, Thank you.”
I kissed him.
“Anything for you my love “
We both sit down and starting to eat.
“Oh that my baby did you cook this food or just order it”.
“I cook baby”
“Yeah, I know you didn’t know that I can cook so well “.
“Okay so you kept this one as a secret?”
“No, not like that, or just I love your food and I wanted to surprise you that all”
“Okay I understand then”.
“So tell me how was your day at work?”
“My day was hectic today, but you know me I always manage”.
“I know baby”.
“So what about yours”.
“It was busy like hell and they called me from the hospital telling me that they need a new nurse on my ward, I also need to get that done and I don’t know where to star”.
“Oh really?”
“Yeah “
“I might help on that, but only if you don’t mind “.
“Really baby?? I will be really thankful and of course I don’t mind “.
“Okay there’s a friend of mine who is also looking for a job as a nurse. I think she can be the perfect nurse they are looking for”.
“Oh wow, that so quick then I expected”. “Actually that was what I wanted to about yesterday”
“I’m sorry baby I should have listened and stop being selfish”.
“It okay baby. Then I guess I will give her the details and she will start to work on Monday right?”
“Of course, bring her in . And baby thank you again”.
“Anytime “
Ben stand up and clean the table.
“Oh baby, let me do it.”
“No, baby I can’t handle it”.
“Oh baby, last night you said something”.
“Oh ,did I ?”
“Yes”
Ben looked alarmed.
“Oh I don’t remember, what did I said?”
“You said “ oh baby we had so much fun last night “, but I don’t remember us having fun last night rather than fighting”.
“Oh baby I must have been drunk, coz I don’t remember”.
“Yeah maybe, see you in bed”. I kissed him.
“Okay baby”.
Ben is left in the kitchen thinking about what Ashley had said to him…
