Knock! Knock! Knock!
I didn't think I'd come back to this place, but here I am.
I needed to talk to someone, this pack was driving me crazy, and I'd been having serious back pains
“Hi Judith, it's me Rayyan” I raised my voice with the hope that Judith would let me in, but I heard nothing from inside
Knock! Knock! Knock!
I banged the door harder this time
“Judith! Are you in there?” I asked trying to peek inside the office from outside where I stood
“Rayyan?”
I turned around and saw Judith coming from the other end of the ward
“What a pleasant surprise” She came closer and hugged me
It felt good; I've been compassion-starved since I arrived, and Judith was even warmer and more welcoming than I thought she would be. It made me smile
