Jackson moved closer to her and pulled her back to stare at him.
"Where are you going to look for him?" He asked.
"Anywhere. I just need to find him" she said softly.
"I understand Kylie. It's risky for you to go out there" he replied.
"Why?" She asked.
"Weekends are for vampires. They are out there hunting. You won't want to bump into them"
Kylie slipped her hands out of his hand.
"I know you guys kill humans just to quench your thirst. I'll take care of myself" she said and continued packing.
"Let me go with you. We can leave early in the morning"
She lowered her gaze. She knew he was right. She really didn't want anything to happen to her.
She zipped the bag and pushed it under the bed.
