The space Niko led me to wasn’t what I expected. It was tucked behind a rusted supply door at the end of a narrow maintenance corridor, where the overhead lights flickered like they couldn’t decide whether to stay on or give up altogether. He didn’t hesitate as he pulled open the door and motioned me inside. The room was small, windowless, and smelled faintly of metal and dust. But it was more than just a storage closet. On one wall, a makeshift desk had been set up using stacked crates and a plank of wood. Folders, torn pages, and what looked like stolen files littered its surface.
