The freshly brewed coffee had hardly reached his lips when his phone began to play music. Isaac coughed on the tiny quantity of hot liquid that entered his lips before quickly setting the cup down, spilling a bit on the table. He reached for his phone, his heart beating like a locomotive. He opened the cellphone to find a text message notification from his father's phone. Was it simply his father attempting to reach him?
