The sound of raindrops striking the ground...
His body lay there with utter indifference, the scent of blood mingling with the damp asphalt. From his leather coat, blood seeped out, blending with the falling water.
From a distance, she was running toward him barefoot, droplets flying beneath her feet as she screamed his name.
"Please, hold on!" she cried at the top of her lungs, her voice trembling with intense fear. Tears streamed down her cheeks, her vision blurred by sobbing, yet she was determined to reach him.
With great difficulty, Jungkook raised his head upon hearing her voice, focusing on her eyes from afar as if trying to memorize their details for the last time.
In a choked and weak voice, he spoke: "This is the first time I do something like this for someone... not because you are mine, but because you are you."
With a bitter smile, his body shuddered before falling once more—losing consciousness, his eyes closed, and his lips slightly parted.
