The water runs red as it washes Vanessa’s blood from my body. Even though the water is warm my body shakes as I recall what I have just done. Bracing my hands against the shower wall I try to calm my nerves, but it is not working. My legs begin to shake underneath my weight, and I fall to the tiles beneath my feet. Slow painful sobs escape my mouth as I curl my knees to my chest and sit with the hot water spraying down over me. I have never killed anyone before and when I got the opportunity, I tortured and slaughtered her like a monster. The painful sobs begin to come faster and louder as I think about each time I stabbed Vanessa.
