Training Session Part 2

1142 Words
Skai I was standing in the middle of a bunch of sweaty dogs who looked relatively pissed at my interruption. “Men are at work, hon, why don’t you go play somewhere else?” said a burly, bearded man who looked to be in his early 30s I smirked at him, “Well, aren’t you pleasant?” I asked him sarcastically. “I’m Tobias,” he said, extending a sweaty hand and flashing a killer smile “Jemma,” I said, not even bothering to shake his hand. “What can I help you with, princess?” He asked. “I’m here to train you dogs,” I reply, causing him and everyone else to bust out laughing. I took the opportunity to observe his stance, it was clumsy and unbalanced. He put his arm on my shoulder and said, “Listen, princess, I’m in charge here. Why don’t you go do something more productive, like shopping?” I looked at him and smiled sweetly, then I took his hand, grabbed his forearm, and threw him into the wall behind me. He landed with a loud thud and a look of bewilderment. Dust filled the room from the cracks in the wall his massive body had left. Everyone got quiet as I strolled over to where he was lying. He looked up at me, and I bent over him. “The first lesson, don’t f**k with me. I take training very seriously,” I said menacingly. I stand up and face the group, giving them a death glare that could turn Medusa herself into stone. “Second lesson!” I yelled. “My name is Jemma, not Princess. Any of you idiots call me princess and I will cut it off.” I continued, giving them all a very dark smirk. Jesse, Ashton, and Xailier ran into the room and looked around, confused at what was going on. I saw them look at the wall behind me. Their eyes widened in surprise. Well, everyone except Xailier. He knew all too well what I was capable of. My smirk got even wider seeing their expressions. “What the hell happened here? We heard a boom and thought we were under attack!” said Ashton. “Oh, that... That was what happens when people f**k with me,” I said in the sweetest voice I could manage. Xailier laughed and walked next to me, giving me a look of pride and admiration. “s**t, Jemma! That’s my Gamma!” Ashton yelled at me, pointing at Tobias’s limp body, and running his hands through his hair. I just shrugged. "Well, he’s weak and can’t control his mouth. Someone had to teach him a lesson, and if you keep yelling at me, you’re next." He rolled his eyes and walked up to me. “Is that a threat?” I got closer to him and whispered in his ear. “Oh no, babe, that’s a promise, so watch how you talk to me, introduce me to your pack, and don’t forget why I am here.” I stood back, sending him a sweet smile. He gave me this look like he was debating whether to strangle me or kiss me. It was pretty hot, but nowhere as hot as when Jesse looked at me. When Jesse looked at me, I felt like I wanted to pounce on him and let him have his way with me, no matter who was looking. Wait...What? Dear lord, ever since I met this man, my mind has been filled with naughty thoughts... I suddenly remembered that Jesse was also there and peered over Ashton’s shoulder. Jesse was glaring daggers at Ashton, but no one else seemed to notice. It was the same look he had when Ashton hugged me the day before, and it was a little hot. His eyes met mine, and I sent him a sly wink, and he blushed. It felt good being on the other side. I was usually the blushing mess. I smirked as he looked away. “Everyone listen!” Ashton said, facing his pack. “This is my fiancée, Jemma. She is our future Luna and will be training you. I expect you all to follow her rules. She comes from a very strong pack and she knows how to handle herself in a battle, unlike you guys. Also, somebody take Tobias to the infirmary, he looks bloody awful,” Ashton ordered. I almost cringed when he said, fiancee. I don’t think I’ll ever get used to it. Training started, and I told them to split up into groups of two and line up. I wanted to see what I was working with. They listened to me immediately, probably realizing I meant business. Group one practiced defense in the first round while group two practiced offense, and then I had them switch around for the second round. I noticed a small boy from group 2 who couldn’t have been older than 14 struggling against his opponent, so I walked over to him and asked for his name. “Micheal” he replied shyly, blushing a little, my eyes softened. He was absolutely adorable! He had a small yet muscular frame, light brown complexion, short curly hair, and a “handsome for his age” face. “It’s all about your stance and ability to read your enemy. Offense is important, but a real battle is more about strategy and defense, just like a game of chess. You have to make sure you plan each move and then attack when the moment is right,” I told him. “When you start the battle, you defend, making sure you can dodge. Thus, your posture should be in a defensive stance, this will allow you to move quickly and buy extra time to plan your next move,” I explained loudly. Showing him and everyone else the proper way to do it. “Next, you must read your opponent. Observe your opponent’s moves and analyze them. Finding a pattern can help you predict what moves are coming next,” I continued. “Hey, come here,” I said, waving Xailier over. He walked in front of me and took an impeccably offensive stance. He swiped at me with his right hand. I dodged, then he brought up his knee, which I blocked with my arm. He tried to elbow me but I caught his elbow and pinned him to the ground. After the demonstration, everyone got back into their groups and trained for the following 2 hrs. Ashton had left the training session early, and I was pissed. How dare he walk out on his pack? As a leader, he should be more involved with his pack, and the only reason they were in the weak state they were in, was because of him.
