Amanda's POV We continued inside the house. There was a rack on my left, where a small flat-screen television was placed. Underneath were some books and speakers. Frames adorned the walls. There were no personal photos, just crochet pieces or pictures of plants and quotes about home. On my right was a dark brown sofa, a long one and a single-seater. Two pillows were placed on the long sofa, while one was on the single-seater. Just a few steps away from the living room was the dining and kitchen area. It was different from ours, where the rooms were separate. Everything was in the same area here. "Would you like some coffee?" my mother offered the driver after he finished carrying my things from the van to the house. "No, thank you. I'll be heading back to Cavite." the driver declined.
