Shit! The message had been from the day before.
I scanned the calendar hanging behind the register.
There it was, the red circle and note Library scrawled across today’s date.
“See you tonight. Call if you need anything,” she’d ended.
The idea of putting on any sort of event seemed as foreign a concept as goblins and vampires had a few days ago.
“f**k my life!” I yelled to no one in particular.
