Chapter 24: Something WickedThe gray clouds of morning broke, and a cold sky tinged with orange-pink greeted me. The deserted, silent land toyed with my head. From a distance, the pumpkin patch resembled any ordinary, sleepy farmland. No goblin, darting crows or hellish screeching betrayed the previous night’s events.
