Seth looked at Bella. This is an example of an event when he can’t see what Bella is feeling. She stuttered at first but she was able to recover her composure and there was not even a trace of fear in her eyes. He turned his focus on the call that was able to hack into their system. He was looking for a way to disconnect the call.
“Ahhh, so sweet. You do remember me. It’s been a while. I heard you have a boyfriend now.” Cayden laughed mirthlessly. He was trying to intimidate Bella.
Seth stood up and signaled to Bella to quit talking to the rude caller. Bella looked at Seth and gave him a thumbs up. Seth sat back down as soon as Bella said she could handle it. “Well, Cayden, we blocked you for a reason and we don’t appreciate you hacking into our system.” Bella said straight away.
