247 Words
Queen Engolia If only I could take the bad rumors about siren Myths and make them disappear. Where would history lead us then? Absolutely nowhere. I guess we should thank the Greeks for making life as intense as possible. My father summoned me to his quarters. Wren accompanied me since my fins were jelly and I had a flustered look on my face. "You're going to amaze, dear sister. I know. It's your first meeting as Queen. Alright to admit you have a jelly tail. Head up, swish tail back and forth, deep breath. Glide into the room. Make sure no one can take their eyes off of you. That reminds me... Wren takes two brightly colored coral shopping bags out from under her arm. "I bought these before you were crowned. Hope you don't mind." Out come two red and blue jewelery pieces: The first, a headdress and a seashell sash, the second, An Endless Seas Crest. "My Queen," my sister says with a bow. I give her a curtsy, unaware of how I look and chuckle lightly. We hurry to my father's Throne room. There are guards positioned at every door, which I haven't seen until today. I wave a guard over and ask him to be let in. He looks at me fleetingly and nods, unlocking the door while giving Wren the stink eye and pushing her backward. I whisper words into the guard's ear and Wren is aso allowed entry.
