After that entire ordeal I just wanted to lock myself in my room and process. Process the fact I could of died by hanging, I could of died by torture which the officers may or may not have meant it. I could have died if Matilda the lawyer hadn’t come just in time.

After my processing, I went out to find Kenzie sitting at the balcony. she is also thinking. I cant read her mind but Im pretty sure its about me. I join her and she says “This morning was the most terrifying morning I have ever had” she was terrified? “For me also. It took my all afternoon to convince my body I wasn’t going to die” I told her. “Im working on something similar to the Obedience Potion that only allows the master or Mistress to control their Assistants. Too many people have access to you. Too many people can control you.” And with loud conviction she said “THIS WILL NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN. I WILL NOT LOSE YOU” My heart soared knowing she cared but I stopped that as soon as it started. I cant have her. I’m Human. She’s a demon. We are too different. And it breaks my heart.

I hear her say “screw it” and the next thing I know she’s Kissing me. And I love it. And I gave me the strength and knowledge that she felt the same way. It ended way to soon. “Sorry. I guess my feelings took control a little there.” Im still wearing the smile her kiss caused when I say “I like you to” a big gust of wind blew the table we were sitting at inside as I left the door open. The curtains were whipping like crazy hair was going everywhere and I couldn’t see. It pushed me off the chair and inside where the wind still caused Havoc. And as suddenly it appeared, it disappeared. “Odd: I said as I walk back to Kenzie whos looking at the trees and looking like shes thinking hard. I leave her be.

In the morning. I wake up and my apartment floor is full of dirt. Just dirt. No footprints. Just dirt. I hear the chime and visit Kenzie. “Hey What’s up? I ask. Feeling a little too happy from the memory of last night. I would like you to hang out with me today. All day. Id love the company. My heart did flips. “Of course.” Ad we walk around as she does her usual job.we mainly stay in the main entertaining rooms. Where the customers are. But at lunch time we went to the kitchens. I guess so Kenzie can see what’s up. I was looking up at Kenzie when I hear “AAH FIRE!” and everyone looked and we all saw half of the kitchen engulfed in flames. One of the chefs managed to extinguish the flames but everyone was on edge. Kenzie leaves immediately after the incident. “I want to relax. Its my break. Wanna go Swimming?” She asked. I shrug, nod and say yes and go to my room to put on some Swimmers.

I spend the rest of the day convincing myself that my feelings for Kayla are fake. It’s the adrenaline. I cant have her shes human. And then I think about that “Glitch” in her file. It didn’t make sense. How could the file say that but everything still work for her. The drink, the bracelet, she’s human. So Why did the file say what it said. How could it say she isn’t what it says she is. I hear Kensie sit beside me on the Balcony. “This morning was the most terrifying morning I have Ever had.” I say. Not looking at her. I fear if I looked id kiss her. She said something about dying and it made me feel scared again.”Im working on something similar to the Obedience potion. That only allows the person in control to call the shots on what their humans do. Too many people have access to you. Too many people can control you.” I paused to catch my breath. “THIS WILL NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN. I WILL NOT LOSE YOU!”

My emotions are all over the place, I said screw it and I kissed her. A long emotional kiss. I care about her on another level. I cant deny it anymore. Im falling in love. I stop before I go any further and my mind is reeling with guilt, pleasure, disbelief, and a little bit of me wanting more. But before I could there was a large burst of wind that came out of nowhere. It was really strong.it pushed the table indoors and the Layla came tumbling after.I then saw the trees while the wind was still crazy. Only a little movement. Like it was before. This was a demon using Magic. And there was no one else around. And I know Im distracted but I can control my magic. Meaning either the file was right and It wasn’t a Glitch or we had a little spy. The wind stopped and she excused herself to go to her room. I did the same.

The next morning I smelt dirt coming from her room. This is basic beginner Demon. They don’t know how to control their powers so they come out in really strange ways. I ring her bell and wait. She comes out and I tell her I want company. Its not a lie. I just have an Ulterior Motive. Nothing much happens until around lunch when its time for me to visit the kitchen. Im doing my routine then out of nowhere a chef screams “AAH FIRE!” and half of the kitchen in engulfed in flames. Another chef managed to put out the fire but everyone is shooken up. By my count that’s 3 of the 5 elements. The elements are the basis of every demons power. Every demon has elemental Abilities but every demon also has unique magic. I wander whats hers will be. I offer to take her swimming. Triggering thewater ability isn’t tricky, u trigger it with water. But only after fire has happened it has to happen in a certain sequence. Wind, like the Balcony, earth, like the dirt the maids are cleaning up, fire, like what happened in the kitchens, water, which is going to happen while swimming, and Spirit is last and the most difficult to trigger.
