Katerina entered the building of Lunar Inc. she somehow expected either Adrian or Caleb to suddenly show up and accost her to the CEO’s office.
To her surprise, everything seemed normal. The guard checked her ID when she entered and she headed up to her floor.
‘Maybe he was drunk last night.’ Calathea said in her head, sounding quite sad.
‘If he only said those things because he was drunk, then is he truly worth it?’ Katerina asked her heart broken wolf.
She couldn’t deny that a part of her was hoping that Adrian or one of his men would ask her to join him in his office so they could speak. After all, last night all Katerina did was listen, while Adrian did all of the talking.
“Katerina! Congratulations!” Mrs. Morrison said as she approached and gave Katerina a hug.
